Who is responsible
MKIMON ENTERPRISES LTD, Pinkam House, Ground Floor, Horo Drive, Nakuru, Kenya, is the data controller for information collected through mkimon.co.ke, our shop, our phone line and WhatsApp. Contact us on 0722 886 026 or info@mkimon.co.ke.
What we collect
- Your name, phone number and, if you want delivery, your location or route.
- What you order, how you choose to pay, and an M-Pesa confirmation code if you enter one.
- Messages you send us by WhatsApp, phone or email about an order.
- For account customers: the business name, contact person and account history.
Why we use it
- To confirm your order, prices and availability, and to contact you about it.
- To deliver or hand over the goods, and to check a payment you tell us you made.
- To keep the sales and tax records the law requires of a business.
- To answer your questions and resolve a complaint.
We use your details because you asked us to supply goods (performing a contract) and because we are required to keep business records. We do not sell your details, and we do not send marketing messages unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
Only with those who need it to complete your order: our own staff and drivers, a courier you choose for delivery outside our routes (such as G4S or Fargo), and Safaricom M-Pesa when you pay through it. Our systems are hosted by service providers who store data on our behalf under contract. We share information with authorities only where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Order and sales records are kept for as long as Kenyan tax and company law requires, normally seven years. Website order details that never became a sale are deleted within twelve months.
Your rights
- To be told what information we hold about you, and to get a copy.
- To have wrong information corrected.
- To ask us to delete information we no longer need, or to stop using it.
- To object to any use of your information for marketing.
Ask on 0722 886 026 or info@mkimon.co.ke. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (odpc.go.ke).

If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
